“Shades of Caesar” (No Competition)

It would appear that hospitals giving out true charity care (as opposed to Medicaid) will be punished.  It is sad that a law that alleged to be designed to do so much good would have in it a provision that discourages private, charitable help for the uninsured poor:

In other words, we will all be punished if we dare try do the right things.

When the government sets itself up to be God, it must supress the competition.  Christians…make sure that you are serving Your God and doing true charity with your own gifts and resources and accept no substitute where there is competition for God’s glory!
